Brandon & Emily's Maternity Shoot

I loved my time with Emily and Brandon documenting the beautiful calm before the babe :) Emily and Brandon were married last November and knew they were ready to have their own family. Little Colton Nash Reeves is due October 3rd! When they found out they were having a boy, as much as Brandon tried, he couldn't keep the grin off of his face. Brandon looks forward to teaching Colton baseball, while Emily cant wait to be the "team mom." But first, she looks forwarding to hearing his sweet new born cries and having a "momma's boy"... if only for a moment. Such a special time for this sweet couple, thank you for sharing it with me!

I've caught the shutter bug

So I've decided to start blogging to get the word out that I'm pushing forward in my long time hobby of photography. I've always had a passion for the creative things in life and have just recently obtained the right "tools" to follow my dream. I was so happy when my friend Kristin asked that I shoot her family's christmas card photos. We met at Freedom Park in Charlotte, NC and experimented with background and lighting, as well as a 100 pound impatient golden retriever... :) But Kristin and I were so happy with the finished product! I would love to continue shooting families, couples and kids!
